Question 2012 Plasma died, replace with similar model or newer mid-range LCD?

So I stupidly cracked the screen of my 2012 Panasonic plasma yesterday (a TX-P50ST50B) and now need a replacement. I was going to replace it with a UHD OLED at some point but right now the prices are still too high; the OLED55C6V is the only one in what I'd consider a reasonable price range (£1400) and it's curved, which I don't want. Both the OLED55B6V and the OLED55B7V are nearly as expensive as the OLED55C7V (£2500)!

So basically I'm going to buy a used one to tide me over another year or two (it can be used as a secondary TV after that). There are three choices in my area:

- Samsung PS51D8000 (another 2012 model plasma) - £275
- Samsung UE48J5500 (2015 LCD, scarce reviews pretty bad) - £200
- Sony KDL48W585 (2014 LCD, scarce reviews look good, 1 year warranty remaining) - £250

Did LCDs catch up enough in that time in terms of picture quality to bother going with either LCD or would the plasma still be a better bet? Note I don't really care about any smart TV features since I use an HTPC and I don't care about sound since I have an AV receiver and speakers.

Thanks.
