Thank you for the link and the info James, i watch YT reviews a lot so ill give this channel a look and see what he has to offer.

Unfortunately, 'Home Theater Geeks' was dropped by the Twit.TV network sometime ago (they couldn't get the number of advertisers necessary to continue covering their costs), but all of the episodes are archived and available to stream online via YouTube:

Episodes (twit.tv)

There are some brilliant interviews with Industry insiders who really know their stuff. American centric, but plenty to keep people on this site of the Atlantic entertained.

Regards,
James.

I generally ignore the review of the film itself, its basically personal taste. Something I love might get panned but you love what you love. I do take more note of the picture and sound quality mentioned. In this case, I quite liked the film.

I suppose the biggest change would be the atmos sound and it wound be interesting to find out the best sequences that pick this out. From memory, here were lots of planes and helicopters in addition to all the general mayhem. The Yellowstone volcano bombs ???

What were the stand out atmos bits?

I suppose there is so much going on the subs will be on constant duties anyway. Im not sure if this would be demo worthy for picture but I am willing to be corrected

Out of intertest whats your issue with Jeff from films at home?

I unsubscribed from that channel when he upgraded his TV...and went for an LED.

For a guy specialising in physical media quality, that seemed ludicrous to me. Or at the very least, naive...
