Well, its nearly the end of 2011, what achievements has everybody got?

Me, survived the year with having only 2 minor injuries, and one of them, wasn't even my fault!

Got the wife up the duff!
Had a whole year off from work

Hells belles. I usually ask the wife if she's got five minutes to spare. Her usual and truthful answer is that she's not doing it twice. A year off work. Must have been one cracking night. Eight hour sleep is usually enough for me.:D

Hope all goes well for the both of you.

Got married.
Got a graduate job.

If my wife gets her visa before 2011 it would be perfect!

Rather than finding faults in my achievements, why not put yours up so we can shoot them down ;)

I've had a decent 2011 ...... got a new job (which I love), passed two more exams on my way to the diploma, City won a trophy (at last!) and qualified for the Champions League, we smashed United 6-1, I ran a marathon (surprised myself with that one!), had a brilliant 40th birthday with all my wonderful friends and then a fantastic family holiday in Salou and lads holiday in Cabo Roig (what goes on tour ...) to put a tin hat on it ..... all this with the most beautiful wife and two gorgeous kids a man could ask for .... jesus, I am lucky.

Well it looks like you've put on a ton of tummybulge and had to punch three new holes into your belt.

Got called to be interviewed at all the unis I've applied to (proud of that, considering each medschool only interviews around 30% of applicants)
Then I was made an offer to study medicine at King's College London
Waiting on the other three nervously :D

Got a new job and a 16%+ pay rise, yay.
Lost the additional Stone I put on over the last 2 years, in the last 2 months (unintentionally).

Next years plan is to buy my own place (and secretly take over the world :D)

Well done pal!! Very impressive!

Been a good year overall, from a career perspective, I achieved all my years targets early at the beginning of October which meant my Christmas bonus this year will be very healthy :smashin:

Had a fantastic family holiday in Salou this year :smashin:

Home extension was completed mid November, a lot of stress at the time although very happy now with all the room gained.

My football team Chelsea they...................:mad: lets not go there :rotfl:

** edit **

Also, have 16 days off over Christmas, cant wait.

That's awesome! Well done!

Where else have you applied? Kings had a good reputation though, I'd be tempted to pick that. Have 2 cousins who have both done medicine there and doing very well now.
