2010 VAIOs - Are they all LED Backlit?

Hi Folks,

Went down to Anvika to look at some laptops and was interested in nice looking white Sony Vaio, the sale asst told me that they're all led backlit now days, instead of TFT. Wasn't impressed by his answer, I asked another asst at the same shop, he told me it's mainly the higher end Vaio models that have led backlit screens? confusion!

Can anyone confirm which is true?

heh, clearly he's clueless.

If there are any that aren't LED backlit then it's likely to be the bigger ones where the power saving isn't needed, it's probably easier to look at the ones you're interested in rather than trying to find out for the whole range.
