2000 pounds budget[best pj on the market]

Hi all,i mlooking to replace my hd 70 with something more sharp,better colour,better black.With 2000 pound budget and a view distance of 11 feet.with a pj screen of 86 diagonal,what is the best option?I dont have any bat cave or controll light room[i hope in a close future].Thanks for help me

2000 gets you lots of options. Trying to narrow it down for one person's needs is pretty impossible. It's hard enough even for my own needs.

We don't really know the street price of the imminent models but it's worth considering:
Panny AE3000
Mits HC7000
Epson TW5000

Of the currently available models, there are lots:
JVC HD1
Epson TW2000
Samsung A800 (about 2.5k though)
Infocus IN83/82
Mitsubishi HC6000
Sony VW60 (in budget on import only)

They are all going to be great, but they will be different. I think you're going to have to go and watch some of them and try to work out your image priorities.
The main one might be rainbows/sharpness/depth in bright scenes (room permitting) of DLP versus some of the LCD offerings.
