Does anybody have any decent info on a DVD jukebox machine that will hold 200+ DVDs?
I currently have a Pioneer 717 but do not like this disk changing but still need a pretty good quality player.
What formats do these machines handle and what connections do they have?

Unfortunately this has now been withdrawn (the model was the 860 - about £500). The US has a new model out (the 875p) which has support for Progressive Scan!. No news on the UK model yet - suspect Sony was waiting for the UK to get its act together with Progressive Scan before releasing a model. Sony UK have said that they release new models only twice a year (March/September) so I guess we will have to wait until next March!

My DVP-CX860 301-discer is shortly to go onto the classifieds for £250. Just a "heads up". Will post full info there later. Mint, OBM, Multi-Region, RCE compat etc., component out. Great machines.

Back to a unidisc on g/f's orders...

Will not entertain offers due to this post, you'll have to go to the classifieds.

Just a heads-up - the CX860 is still available in Ireland so no problems with UK power etc......

Saw one in the Sony Centre on O'Connel Street, Dublin for c850Euros at the tail end of October....

I was tempted to replace my CX850 but as with Mike my fiance demanded I replace the lightning damaged one with a uniplayer.........and ended up with the HK DVD25 and then managed to get the CX850 replaced so now we are both happy!

Just thought I would let you know
Cheers
