I have done some searches on the forum and can't find much on this subject.

Can anyone recommend a 20" or less, HD Ready, widescreen LCD TV with built in Freeview?
:lease:

Many Thanks

Theres quite a few from the major players, including the cheap brands like whafedale and other OEM brands. Couple of good model examples would be :

Sony KDL20S2020/2030
JVC LT20DA6

Both have reviews on the Homecinemachoice website.

Thanks.

It does seem to be a LOT more expensive to get one with built in Freeview? The two you have mentioned are in the £410 - £450 price range. You can get a decent HD Ready 19" Samsung without Freeview for £237.49.
Are there any other cheaper alternatives from the decent manufacturers?

I think one of your options has to go for the money.

Knock off the HD ready and your choice goes right up.

I understand the wish for HD but its only a 20" after all.

The 19" ones I've seen in shops (with laptop resolution screens) did not have very good viewing angles.

Make sure you demo before buying.

And of course give a review of the one you decide upon, once you happy with it.
