    Hello all,

    1. I have heard of ftp to send things to and from your pc and xbox but what is it all about is this the only way to send things back and forth betweeen the xbox and pc ?
    2. If i were to download a music album on my xbox would i be able to play the music in any game ?

    1. you need to have a modded xbox to do that.
    2. you need to have a modded xbox to do that. :) And only in games that support custom soundtrack(most racing games)

    Yes we know you have an xbox, other wise you wouldn't of asked the questions :rolleyes: but is it modded? as if it isn't you won't be able to do the things your asking about.

    The best way to play songs in games is to rip them of cd in the xbox dash screen,i dont think they are ripped as mp3's so moving mp3's from the pc to the xbox wont work.
    But i might be wrong!

    go to www.xbox-scene.com and download VXCR, this will create soundtracks out of mp3s from your PC for you :)

    Hey chillin dude thanks for that i downloaded it and i dont know what im doing is asks me for my xbox ip address how do i connect my xbox to pc (i have got broadband) also is there a cable or anything out there to transfer things from your pc to xbox ?

    Can anyone tell me if there is a cable needed to (ftp) send things to and from my xbox an pc and also can someone give me an explanation of what ftp is.

    Its not straight forward and cant easily be explained if you arent familiar with Modded xboxs and have a limited understanding of networking.

    You need to do a search on Google, you will find guides on how to do it, the modifications and software that are required.
