I think (!) the Tivo only allows you to record from a freeview STB and either watch what you are recording (pointless!) or watch something already recorded and stored in Tivo.

If I wanted to watch another channel could I get an aerial splitter and feed a second freeview box into another scart on the TV?

I know this sounds mad and theres probably a very good reason why it won't work but can someone in the know help.

    regards

You may find it better to use a TV aerial booster with two outlets to split the aerial signal to two STB's. No reason you cannot feed them to the TV. Depends on how many AV inputs your |TV has.

I use Maxview signal boosters. Sold all over.
    Different makers. Argos, Wilkinsons, B&Q,
Woolworths, market stalls etcetera. Range in price from around £10 to £20 depending on quality and number of coax outlets.
Just look for TV signal boosters or aerial amplifiers but do not get a masthead amp for indoor use.
