    Hi all ,need help plz.
Moving house 2weeks to go but no TV!
Have ordered NTL cable(good?) and been considering Sony
Widescreen 32FX65 & DAV800 (can't put me off DAV!) and have found a good price from www.unbeatable.co.uk BUT today have seen the Philips 32PW9576 for £1199 in Debehams of all places with 5year warranty(hmmm! nice). BUT........will the s-video cables on the DAV (no scart) be OK with the Philips are they in the back? dont want any nasty cables dangling anywhere else.
need quick answers as credit card is twitching badly but dont want to make mistake buying Philips should I stick with 32FX65?

    thanks all

Avoid the sony tv like the plauge. I had 2 FX65s and both had purity problems and the famous scrolling bars. (see the thread on this forum) Try a Panny or a tosh.

    cheers

Must say the Dav800 does look great, might get rid of my Videologic Digitheatre DTS
    and buy the Dav myself

There won't be a problem with the S-video cable. You can get an S-video to Scart cable, so you can plug it into the back. The IXOS 137-AV is a good cable to look at. Excellent build quality and delivers a cracking picture. Nice n' neat :)
