Hi, this is driving me mad. I'm currently looking for 2 new TVs for our new home.
First TV is for a long open plan lounge so preferably flat and 55". I'm currently looking at the Samsung 55 KS7000 SUHD HDR 4K. It's £1299 at the moment. I'll pair this with a dedicated AV receiver and Dolby setup. This will be the main TV so should have the priority.
The second TV is for a dedicated TV room. I'll mostly watch football and the PS4 with it. The larger the better. I'm currently looking at the Samung 60 JS6800 at £1149. Otherwise I'd been looking at the Panasonic DX750 at £1100 which I was really impressed by in store. I'll be facing the TV direct so the limited viewing angles doesn't matter too much on this one.
Would both of these TVs seem like good choices with the combined budget? Are there any Sony or LGs that I should consider as alternatives? Also, what about the LG OLEDs? Too many TVs at the moment! I just want some good suggestions for 2 TVs within the budget.
To further complicate matters I was also blown away by the LG 55" 950V OLED in store. The blacks were stunning. It's £1600 so would leave me £900 for the TV room. I would probably pair the LG with the Panasonic 58 DX700 at £899. Would this be a better combo?
