I have two sky boxes in one room side by side, is there a way that each remote will only operate one of the boxes? one boxes is a 2tb box and the other just a 500mb

    Many thanks

Thanks, I'll look in to this.. but I think my problem is that I have two boxes under the stairs going to a HDMI matrix going to each room in the house, I also have IR receivers in each room going to senders under the stairs which can see each box. I was thinking each sky box (different) would have a remote but this isn't true as you know.......

You may have to use a magic eye system just for remote control to provide individual control using the SPC4 unit.

Much simpler using Humax Freesat/Freeview boxes as the remote controls have 6 operating modes so you can use 6 units without the remote controls clashing.

Have you already bought the matrix? If not look for a feature called routed IR - this means that IR receivers from each room only operate transmitters connected to the kit they have selected to feed that room. So if you watch Sky box 1 in Room 1 then only the IR emitter connected to Box 1 reacts to commands from room 1.
