2 LG OLEDs, different apps?

I have 2 LG OLED TVs. I think I bought one in 2017, and the other I bought this year. Is there a reason why they don’t have the same apps? I can understand certain things, like Apple’s AirPlay or Amazon Alexa that might require different hardware, but I also can’t get NBC Peacock for Twitch.tv on my old TV. Is it really that obsolete so quickly?

Yes unfortunately so.. LG want you to upgrade every year or two like it's a mobile phone
There is no reason the c8 cant have the apple tv app, c9 got it.. Samsung put it on their tv's going back to 2016.
LG just dont support their older tv's from even 1 year ago, sucks ☹

It wouldn’t be so bad since I also have a Roku, but now they are fighting with everyone. I can’t use HBO Max and Peacock TV. Do I have to buy an Apple TV now? So annoying.
