    anyone care to comment about price and quality when considering the purchase of
    1. DVD player that play CD audio as well as videos or

    2. standalone components eg individual DVD player and CD player

    Hi Richard,

    First of all, I think you will getter a better response in a different forum.

    Secondly, it depends on your budget and your current equipment. Over generalising, but if you are using a higher spec's projector, then I would be more inclined to use a "the all in one solution".

    If your display is more modest, then I prefer the two box solution. Provided your equipment down the line can take advantage of a dedicated CDP.

    As usual, no one solution fits all.
