2 freesat pvr on one dish

hi
i have 2 cables comming into the house from my dish i havent got sky hd anymore is it possible to connect splitters to the 2 cables to add 2 more cables so i can have 2 freesat pvr,would it dregrade the hd picture doing this
i was wondering if i could do this to save messing with dish adding things

No! PVRs (Sky+ or Freesat) have two tuners and each needs its own cable to the LNB on the dish. Two PVRs needs 4 cables!

i was hopeing to use splitters on my 2 cables to give me the 4 cables,the boxes wouldnt be on at the same time

I think the main problem may be the way the LNBs work. If your dish is accessible then would be fairly simple to add a quad LNB and feed 2 more cables into the house.
