    that's a bit of a **** take.

I take it that its only multiplayer and not single player missions.

These are very good maps. especially the mall :) but since everyone jumped at the PGR2 content without thinking twice we are always going to be paying for content. Ubisoft have been very generous so far with live content most of there games having plenty of free content, but now they know they can get away with charging for it, dont expect anymore freebies.

the worst one is EA, they are going to be charging between £3 and £5 per game to play them online, this is the only way your going to get them onlive and the only way your going to get there content and in there words "finish your game completly" so it looks like some games you wont complete without extra content :(

i think most people went for the pgr2 downloads was because they have been waiting a long time for them, and it has been pretty good value, a whole new city of tracks and 8 cars(i think) for £3 seemed fair. But £3 for 1 map for a game thats only been out for what 3 months is a bit ott, £3 for both maps would of been better value imo.

Well, I must be breaking the mould. Wasn't really interested in the PGR2 download, as I don't really have time for it since the superior TOCA 2 was released. I did get the two new maps for SC:pT though (btw, it is £3 for both maps) and I have to say it really doesn't bother me to pay.

Its half the price of the Official Xbox mag and will give me far more enjoyment, and I will only pay if its something I want. Like buying a good game, I don't mind paying for something if its worth it. What would worry me is a pay-per-play, as opposed to a flat, pay once fee. That would really annoy me.

And I couldn't care less if EA will charge, as there isn't a single online EA title that interests me. :boring:

The PGR2 pack is pretty good.

    But £2.99 for a map.

    That's like paying £2.99 for a car or 1 track for £3.

You got several cars and 8 tracks for your £3 on PGR2

I downloaded the new maps (its a single download and impossible to download each map separately) and was charged £3.

As i understood it, it was £2.99 per map, but as you say you get both new maps in a single download it makes it better value, but i still haven't downloaded them yet as i don't think i play it enough to warrant it.

For the price of a pint of lager its worth it if you only play the maps a few times a week imo, £3 is nothing on the avarage credit card statement and imo they are the best two maps in the game, they are certainly the most played :)
