2 day Gold trial and Halo 3

Just signed my son up for a 2 day Live trial.

He can play Dirt3 online OK but when he tries matchmaking in Halo 3 it says its restricted to Gold members only?

Any idea why it wouldn't work?

Same problem for me unfortunately, Dunno why. I had a 3 months membership and when I tried it it told me the same thing.

That happened with me but it only happens when you use a trial, you gotta buy a fulltime gold pal
