Hey All at A/v forums,
I'm new to this website and so far Ive already got some unbelievable info from your site. Really impressive! Ive been installing a whole home automation system at one of our customers houses, this guy is really particular about what we use and has researched everything. But we've ran into a bit of a problem what we want to do is wire up a strobe light to a 120 second Non-volatile multi message recorder circuit and pre record a message, then connect this to an amp threw a set of rca's. But heres the catch I need the sound thats playing threw the system to also be piggy backed off the same input. So if he is watching t.v or something the sound from that input plays, then if the event happens the strobe kicks in and the pre recorded message plays threw the amp instead of the T.V audio. All with out switching the audio sources. Im thinking of trying some pos. triggered relays but Im not sure if there is a better way. If anyone would have any input that would be great thanx.
