2.8 firmware update

has anyone else had any problems since updating to 2.8 or maybe my psp is just fecked, but it crashes, sound keeps messing up on MP3s and have to keep taking battery out. arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

no such problems here. just the hit & miss success of downloading video RSS feeds for me atm.

same here, mine crashes if I start the demo up. no biggie, it's only another fifa game.

When I first tried to start the game it crashed, so I tried downloading it again and realised there was a part 2 of the download !

its getting worse. everytime i listern to mp3s on way to work and pause it it crashes just wont let me play a single track . might email sony, but i am sure they will not bother with me as its JAP PSP.

when i first did it there was only one file, now seems to be two and it worked - Naff game thought

have you tried backing up the MS then formatting it? Maybe your files are corrupt?

...strange, was it working perfectly before you upgraded? btw my mp3s work fine, just checked.

yep worked great before now its driving me mad having to take battery out every time i pause it.

i have took battery out for 30 mins see if that sorts it.

as thats the sort of cr*p they will most likley get me to do as well as format it.

omg I had the same problem last night mp3s made no sound until I took the card out then put it back in and today it amde some strange sound then my psp froze I coudl press triange and see info but could not play and then the psp had problems turning off and currently it is okay but I want to know what is wrong. good thing i have the eb games warranty. but if the memory card is busted it better be under sony's warranty. how long is their warranty on memory sticks? I got mine in a giga pack for christmas my present to myself.

mine was working fine until I upgraded last night too. good thing most of ym songs are wma I will switch the rest to wma probably but I want to know if my psp or card is defective. I did format my card so I think it is the card ebcause beofre I formatted it to 2.8 I had never formatted it. I got psp with 2.0 and put songs on it then it was too late and I was too lazy to take them all off. last nigth Iw asn't so Upgraded and formatted. if I knew there was be problems I would never have upgraded and definitely not have formatted formatting takes more space and my card already was like 70 mb short of 1gb when 100% empty.
