I'm really not sure what size to go for, it's a large 20ft x 20ft room but more importantly the viewing distance will be 17ft.

I've measure out a 2.4 wide electric projection screen and it just feels a little small, however the 3.0m width feels huge in comparision.

What's the concensus? There is a big price difference between the two. It will be a 2:35.1

Personally if that was my viewing distance, then I'd make sure the pj has plenty of lumens and go for a 4-5 metre wide screen..but that's just me. If I was you, I would at the least go for the 3m wide screen..you'll obviously we be going CIH so it will give you a bigger 16:9 image to, as opposed to the smaller non scope image you'd get with a 2.4m wide screen.

Just make sure you get a field of view of 40 to 45 degree. Screen with 2.4m width is too small.

    What did you go for?

Based on what I've learnt from other forum members, I agree with Sammy...but you will need high lumens....or will be a dark image.

Viewed the PJ on a seymour screne as React 2.1 was not on demo but the PJ was stunning, I have no doubt the combination in my room will be fine.
