2.1 System without DVD Player ?

Just bought a Toshiba HD DVD E1 and I'm looking for a 2.1 speaker and amp/receiver package. All the 2.1 systems I've seen have the dvd player component included which I don't really need.

Any recommendations for an amp/speaker package or separates - budget is about £600.

You should be able to get something nice for 600 quid.
