Hi, I currently have a pair of speakers going through my amp into my sound card. I can plug my sub into the amp but it causes loud humming in the speakers which I would prefer not to have. I've deduced it's the amp in the sub that's causing it so I've now plugged the sub straight into centre/sub out on my sound card.
My question is, how do I get windows to actually output something? Is there a piece of software anywhere that'll allow the centre/sub line to either be a duplicate or a duplicate with a low pass applied to it? (I can build a small low pass filter if needs be). I can't just split front left/right output as the interference will still occur.
Also on a side note, does anyone know of a channel mixer for foobar that works? skipyrich's doesn't seem to be working, I can get the subwoofer to fire but only by setting the speakers as 5.1 which means in games I'm missing sounds that should be there.
