Just a heads up that the 1TB WD Blues are on special offer on Amazon from midnight tonight. Current price is £39.91 so hopefully they'll be down around the £30 mark.

Also "PC Gaming Week" on Amazon from tomorrow or Tuesday so might be some good deals....

Weird, checked last night and this morning but no sign of the hard drive on offer.

What makes the WD10EZEX the good version?

7200RPM and all 1TB in a single platter I believe. Go above 1TB on the WD Blues and they drop to 5400RPM (rebranded Greens I believe). Nothing wrong with Greens either as I just bought 2 x 3TB yesterday, but if you're after a cheap, fast spinning HDD, look at the WD Blue 1TB (WD10EZEX) or a WD Black.
