Will most likely get stung by customs and po handling fee though. Taking it beyond £70-75. I'm waiting for 1GByte cards below £50.

i thought dvdsoon did a good job of marking down packages to get them past VAT

i was reading a thread that said your chances were 50-50 right now but i think the post office are startign to crack down a bit more

SVP are doing a 1Gb USB2 pendrive for £47.48 this weekend. And you can save another £0.93 if you use the Disqworld member login. £53.32 inc. delivery.

DvdSoon display the full value of the goods. Even put down the value before any discounts. Still, I recently gor RR and Spiderman 2 without any tax etc. Yet Wipeout and Lumines had £8 extra each. Probably because although packaged seperately, both packages were asent at the same time. Making it more worthwhile for the PO to charge me. A £55 card will, (imo), definitely get caught as the full rrp will be displayed. What's that £65-70. So you would be looking at min £70 for the card inc tax, (£55 + poss £25 tax/handling fee).

Ordered 2 off them. Can't see getting them any cheaper anywhere else. The only people who have them in stock are ebayers, and they are selling for an arm and a leg!!! No matter where they are ordered there is going to be a wait, so may as well wait on a bargin. :smashin:

Also according to this the 2Gb cards won't be out for months either!! :boring:

Oh god DVD Soon - arrghhh avoid like the plague! I wouldn't spit on them if they were on fire after the way they treated their PSP customers. As a matter of principle I would never buy from them again no matter how good their amazing pre order offers seem. :thumbsdow

I read about your problems mate, and know what i'm putting myself in for. But i don't think these are preorder prices. I'm sure they will get them in at some stage, and can't see them ringing me and saying they only sell the duo with the crapsky bundle!!!! :nono:

Yeah true. I guess the PSP thing was just a one off but the company treated us so badly and I don't forget these things so easily.

My Wipeout did finally arrive from them today (pretty quick delivery after it was posted - about 2-3 days) and I didn't have customs to pay so i'm happy with that for £17.

I ordered one of the 1GB ones from DVDSOON b4 I checked if they had them in stock - Stoopid I know :(

I called them yesterday and was told it would be probably 6 weeks before they get stock in

Add on another 2 weeks for them to then package and ship (worst case scenario or maybe best case scenario after what Ive read on here about them) and its 2 months before I get the card.

Oh well, off to buy a cheap 64MB card so I can at least save me games. . .
