    Hi,

This is what www.digimem.com has to say on the matter "Sandisk state that they are awaiting delivery of one of the components, causing further delay. Many Apologies . WE DO HAVE 512MB's IN STOCK. All pre orders will be given priority." I remember reading that Sandisk helped Sony develop the memory stick, so perhaps Sony are also waiting for parts?

As for the cheapest, I've ordered a Sandisk Memory stick Duo 1Gb from www.ebuyer.co.uk, again not is stock but the cheapest I've found so far. £83.03 plus free delivery.

    Hope this helps,

    James

Can you post a link to the card on ebuyer. The cheapest 1gig I can find on their site is over £100. My memory have them for £89 and are in stock.

    Guys,

Mymemory do not have stock at the moment. I spent most of Thursday last week ringing various companies and mymemory was one of them. They inform me that it would be the end of the month before they were in stock.

I ended up getting mine from ElectricBirdland although a bit dearer they delivered very quick (ordered late thursday and got it Sat)

I think these things are gonna very difficult to initially get hold of as they are in high demand.

google it, or search the american ebay, im sure they will ship something that small and postage wont be much at all.... could even slip it into a jiffy bag and get away with it being a letter which will miss cumstains charges. I saw one on usa ebay delivered for just over £70 (1g version)

What about the 4GB version! £400 though. Didn't realise they made one with that much capacity.
