    Hello all.

My sister's on the lookout for a 19in widescreen TV for around £150. It needs to be:

    Digital ready.
    Built in freeview.
Usable for general TV watching/films and gaming (so response time is a factor).
Built in DVD (I'm not sure about the reliability of such models, but she would like that as well if possible).

Thanks in advance for any help! :)

    Edit: Absolute ceiling is £180.

Sorry to hi jack but my daughter is also looking for a similar set but she needs a built in DVD built in. Amazon have a Toshiba for £199 which seems a good buy. Anybody any experience of this set.

I found a tv that is 19 inches wide, its hd (good for gaming), has an internal dvd player, digital tuner with all freeview channels, I'm afraid i couldn't find any information about the response time but it is not likely ot be bad. It's a little above your budget at £160 but it has everything you need. Buy GOODMANS LD1946WD | Digital 19" hd ready lcd tv - Televisions | Comet

Doesn't appear to be a DVD in that one?

Is Goodmans any good though? And am I right in saying that a LCD TV with a built in DVD player isn't as reliable as a good, solid LCD only from Sony or Samsung?

Why not take a look at this or this.

Okay, so there's no DVD player built in but you would be getting a better brand and you could always pick up a DVD player from your supermarket for £15 that would probably be every bit as good as the one in a conbi TV
