Can anyone tell me how to remove the stereo from a 1996 vauxhall corsa
Buy a normal set of stereo removal 'prongs' from halfords and then seperate them so they fit the double din size holes. Or just use a snipped up coat hanger.
There should be a small grub screw located in the small hole on each corner of the stereo-if thery are there remove them with a small allen key. Next insert the removal tool into the holes you have just removed the grub screws from until you feel a positive engagement. Next exert slight pressure on the removal keys by pushing them outward, this action releases the grip on the locating spring which holds the stereo in place, and withdraw the unit towards you.
