    Hi folks,

This may not be the right place to ask this, but I aren't sure were else to try.

I was cleaning out the loft and found am ye'olde tape to tape recorder by Philips. It appears to be a Philips el3549a/15 with original instruction manual. Now before I take it to the tip, I was wondering it it would be worth the time to sell it?

Anyone seen anything like this or where I would to to get a price. I cant imagine it would be much, maybe £40?

    Thanks for looking!

That can sell. There are enthusiasts out there who want these things. And it looks like it's compete with reel tapes. If working and in good condition then you are looking at £100-150 depending on the demand at the time.

I found 2 reel to reels in the loft of the house we bought when we first moved in. One looks like it was the same as yours but not as complete and not working. Sold for 70 on the bay. The other went for 50

Edit. Found the picture. The unit was a el341 H
