Just wondering if anyone knows if full spec HD panels are going to come out. And if so when?

Im just wondering that if plasma makers cant develop screens at this resolution that eventually plasma might get phased out.

    What do u guys think?

Panasonic have just announced their 1920x1080 65" plasma, and I think it's supposed to be cheaper than the current 1366x768 model. I can't imagine that Pioneer and the Koreans will be far behind. Getting that many pixels into a 50" plasma might be a bit difficult, though.

Panny 65" before the end of the year, whether that means calendar year or financial year i don't know? But they have said it will be half the price of the current one.

Pioneer said definitley ready for next summer, maybe a 61"?

They need to hurry up though, by the time the 50" arrive everyone will be talking about SED and the like.

    65" TOO BIG!

    Na!

Move the fireplace, sacrifice the kids, divorce the wife and knock a hole into the dining room, but don't say a 65" is too big, i would literally kill for that screen! any offers?

If you go to the cinema, is the screen too big?
Anyway, I guess those big screens are meant for very big rooms.
