Hello,
I'm trying to set up my 1909 so whenever its on standby, my LCD shuts off automatically.
My LCD has a unique feature: It switches automatically to standby whenever there's no signal on its DVI input (no HDMI in this set).
When I switch the receiver to standby - the TV goes to standby - as expected. However, when I switch on the receiver, the TV somehow misses the signal and needs to be turned on manually.
I don't think its the TV's problem: I've had a PC and a cable STB connected directly to the TV for years and this feature worked just fine. It seems that somehow the receiver isn't sending the proper signal to cause the TV to switch on.
The HDMI power control doesn't seem to affect this (it shouldn't I think).
Any thoughts?
Almo
