Hi I have my oppo 981HD hooked up for SACD but the output volume is very low, have checked volume in the 981 and is fine as output via coaxial if fine - is it normal for ext in to be so quiet? I have to increase the volume to + 10DB

    thanks

You can increase the EXT In channel levels on the 1907 if you want to. Alternatively, you should also be able to increase them from the Oppo's setup menu as well.

Thanks Jase but I have tried and I cannot find where on the 1907 I can adjust the ext in - I can of course for all the other digital inputs/outputs but not for ext in. In the Oppo I have limited to 75% volume - even if I do increase in the oppo doesn't seem to make that much difference,

Is there part of the setup menu on the 1907 I am missing?

    Cheers

Should be able to do it from the remote. Press the CH SEL ENTER button on the remote to access each channel (FL, C, FR etc) then press the Left or Right Arrow/Cursor buttons to adjust.

Oh I see, you mean select each speaker (channel) and increase from there?

Yes. From the main setup menu you can also additionally boost the EXT IN SW channel by +5db, +10db or +15db.
