1906 composite to component output

I have currently got my 1906 connected to my TV by component (plasma with no composite input)

Normally, I only use component equipment, but I have just got a Wii, and need to temporarily connect it using the composite connection.

I have connected it to the amp, but cannot get any output at all.

Is there any way around this?

Nope the 1906 has not got any upconversion abilities to component so to output the composite connection you will also ned to run a composite or s-video lead.

I am pretty sure it will output the composite connection out through s-video but I would need to check that.

Video format conversion: Yes: composite to S-Video & S-video to composite video

There you go it will go out via s-video if thats an option??

Thanks for the quick reply.

Unfortunately, my Panasonic plasma has only got component input, and the Wii only comes with a composite lead (component one on order).

Oh well, guess I will just have to wait. Thanks again.

Doesn't the panny have a scart input as well. You can get a composite to scart lead from places such as maplins
