First post here, so hey folks. :D

I'm looking to buy a new LCD Monitor with the ability to function as a TV. The minimum I'd prefer to go for is a 19" 4:3 screen, but preferably a 19" widescreen to get the most out of DVD's and Freeview.

The Dell W1900 is the only 19" widescreen I can see, and it sounds like a quality screen from what Ive read. Its on special offer until tomorrow at £459. Only thing that concerns me is the lack of a scart socket. Would I be correct in thinking I'd need a scart - component cable in order to connect it to my freeview box?

The only other LCD TV within the budget I have would be the PHILIPS 20PF5320, a 20" widescreen that has a 1280x768 res. Problem is info seems to be scare on this model. I know it has a good res, but it any good as a PC monitor? It uses a DVI in right? I'm also unsure whether it has a scart as some sites dont mention it and other sites do.

    Any advice much appreciated.
