I posted after Christmas about looking for a 17" LCD to replace an ancient portable CTV in my bedroom
After lots of research deliberation etc online and round my local electrical emporiums I decide to buy (of all things) a Bush 17" LCD which I spotted in Currys (of all places)
The Bush had all the specs I wanted including Component Video which I planned to use to connect to a Tosh 330 DVD - It also has RGB SCART which is ideal for my NTL Digibox - for others who might be interested there is also S-Video & Composite connections - Audio wise there are 2x phono in & out connections
I took delivery of the Bush yesterday & hooked it all up as above
DVD through Component Video is superb - Nemo & friends never looked so good!
NTL Digital through RGB is excellent
I have no plans to use the Bush as a PC Monitor but if you do you can get PIP (Picture in Picture)
To be fair the sound from the Bush is only adequate but I wasnt expecting much & I've heard a lot worse (!)
I hope this may be of use to anyone looking for a reasonably priced 17" LCD (£499 I paid - or will pay in 9 months!)
    Paul ;)

Could you ask how you're getting on with this? I'm looking for bedroom TV and this would fit the bill.

    Hi

Have you plugged a PC into it at all yet? Does it have a D-Sub input?

    Cheers
