Hi
I'm looking to buy a 17" LCD TV for the kitchen.
I was hoping to get an integrated digital receiver for freeview, but would
it be better to get a seperate box.......
currently using Goodmans (with DAB radio) in bedroom.

Any help much appreciated.

many thanks

Just had delivered today my 17" widescreen 17LX2, its a very good picture & excellent sound. Cost £335 + p&p. Best 17" i reckon, just got to get a seperate freeview box, probably the sony!

I picked up the Sharp LC17SH1E from Richer Sounds yesterday for £299.

Prior to buying this I bought a Samsung 17" from Comet - which I returned after a battle with the store manager as the picture quality was crap and the sound even worse.

The picture quality on the Sharp is in a totally different league to other 17" I look at, including a JVC, Toshiba and Samsung, all of which were viewed side by side in my local Makro.

The good thing with the Sharp is that it is widescreen but the speakers are in a deep section beneath the screen and are big enough to sound half decent.
I have it on the breakfast bar in my kitched and it looks cool.

Yes it's got standard Vesa mounts on the back and Richer sell a mount to go with it.
