I was thinking of purchasing this monitor, and thought i'd best post a link to it here first for one of you brainy lot to look at, theres info on it at the below link, not sure what it means, I want it to replace my 15" CRT and plan on buying a TV card so I can play my Xbox through it as well. So what do you lot think then?

I've had the previous AOC 17" model for over 2 years, and a 19" model for 18 months, and have had no problems with them.

I don't use them for games though, and I think they have low refresh rates (25ms ?)

    One word - GREAT

I have one at home and use it for gaming - very good! Also use 2 of these at work side by side with a dual card, they do a great job, especially considering the price!

    Go for it mate

Sounds promising, I'll wait for a few more replies I think, it seems to have gotten a mixed reaction so far. Also if someone could recommend a good TV card that will enable me to connect my Xbox to it via scart or component, that would be great.

I'm planning to build a new system, and fancy sorting myself out with a decent computer, I'm just unsure about these flat panel's, I wanna make sure im getting a good one at a good price, I'm more used to the standard CRT's.

Anyway, thanks for any help

16ms is better than 25, so should be good enough for fast motion.

I paid £450 for my 17" 2 years ago, so you're getting a good screen at an excellent price.

I've ordered from pcnextday too, and would recommend them
