Question 16 vs 32gb Gaming PC

Curious as to how much RAM you have and why

8, I bought it a couple of years ago when memory was expensive and I haven't needed more yet.

16GB same, it was 2 years ago I think, its all I need for gaming. If I was buying today I would likely again get 16gb but ensure I had 4 slots to allow to go to 32gb later. (which is actually what I did 2 years ago)

I bought 16gb 2018 for £145, same memory now £74

16gb but it is really fast 3200Mhz CL14 and cost £180 less than 2 years ago

32GB only because the extra 16GB was going cheap one day.

No need for it, apart from in Cities Skylines with a shedload of mods!

16GB any more is a waste just for gaming.

I have 64GB for some memory heavy applications like running a set of virtual machines and I've some productivity applications that really chew through memory given the chance.

In general though I find few applications actually use much memory and I was still using 8GB up to a couple of years ago as at the time nothing was needing more than that.
