16 gauge cable

    i have some rocketfish 16 gauge cable and was wondering if it was ok for main speakers (kef iq90). the amp is a onkyo 509.

    Would it be better to bi wire the fronts as I've got loads of the 16 gauge? Thanks

    Theres a wire table here ,

    The wire lengths mentioned here are from the amp and back again , so dont forget to divide by two for your length from each speaker , that means assuming an 8 ohm load ( speaker impedance ) and no more than a 24 foot distance to each speaker , you should be good with 16 AWG.
