    EPSON EMP TW10H...is the model.

    I am looking at 72 inches,width.or 6 feet.
I don't know what height would be suitable for 6 feet width,to get proper widescreen affect.

    I was thinking,normally...the height of a widescreen,is 55% of the width.
    Should i go on that?.

    What are the advantages of having a low height,and 6 foot width?...Or a high height...and 6 foot width?..contrasted to the 55% ratio?.

Is it:the taller the screen gets,it is worse for 16:9 aspect ratio..or is it not totally true?.

Based on 55%,i'm talking about 3.3 feet high..Or 39.6 inches high.

    If the display is true 16:9 :)) ), the the height of a 72" wide screen should be 40.5" (72 x 9/16 = 40.5).

Don't forget, this is the viewable area - if your going DIY, remember to add the appropriate amount all round for a black border - eg 76" x 44.5", would give you 2" all round in black, with a viewable 72"x40.5".

So i was almost right, off by 1 inch.

I never thought it was so simple.....
There should be only one relationship...and height for a 72 inch width.16:9.

I am not going DIY,so would all 72 inch screens, come in the height you said?.

    Should do, or it ain't a 16:9 screen :)

Are you never going to be displaying 4:3 pictures

The Epson is a native 16:9 PJ, so it will display 4:3 in the centre of a 16:9 screen, with black bars down the sides.
