Item is still up for sale as I did not have a box handy to complete delivery. Anyone wanting collection, I am still available.

    Thanks

Miss Mandy what's happened is that I had paid Sandeep the agreed amount and the box he thought was suitable wasn't. Now it was gonna take a couple of days for him to get the right box which would have led to delivery next week. I needed this before the weekend and as one had come up for sale on here that was easier for me to collect Sandeepsb agreed on giving a refund.

Ok, thank you. I see no stipulation in your offer that you needed it in a hurry though, that's something that should have been mentioned especially at this time of the year.

I hope you do. I'm not taking any action this time, but if it happens again you will receive a warning and temporary trading ban. The only reason this deal has broken down is because of you not mentioning your rush and because of that you've messed the seller around.

Would you be looking for collection only now or still willing to deliver once suitable packaging has been found? Would you by any chance be accepting PPG in addition to the bank transfer method stated? Thanks.

    Hi

I'm not ruling out delivery, just need to find a box big enough and ensure I can safely package the laptop without any chance of damage through transit.

I can accept PPG as long as there are no fees involved although I do prefer the stability of bank transfer in case the transaction is reversed via the card company.

    Hi

I had posted the info in my first post.

The cycle count is currently 186 so under 20%

    Thanks

I saw you'd posted a photo but couldn't get it big enough to be sure of the numbers so thought I'd ask. Thanks for getting back to me.

Are you open to offers on this? Another identical MacBook Pro sold on here last week for £1290 but that had a superdrive included and more warranty.

Is this for a delivery? If it's collected I can do £1300 - whatever extra for delivery costs, so if we can find a cheap enough courier then it could work out.

It would be for collection, if you could do the meet near Oxford Circus idea that you mentioned.

Price-wise, it would have to be quite a lot lower than £1290 as the other machine that just sold was the exact same spec as yours but newer, had more warranty, and included a SuperDrive.

Unfortunately I'll be sticking to my price point and go as low as £1290 collected - if you're happy with this then I can be available tomorrow to hand everything over to you at Oxford Circus.

Have you managed to find a box big enough to safely send the MBPr via a courier? With it being the festive period coming to collect may not necessarily work for me at the moment.

In your previous post you mentioned accepting PPG. If I was to cover any fees involved would you still consider that as an option?

    Thanks.

I've mainly been away during the festive period, I can take a look today/tomorrow and see if I can package up the box.

As for PPG - I'm more concerned about reverse transactions and your low iTrader points, do you have any trading profile elsewhere that you can prove your reliability?

Apologies for so many questions. I'm still debating between second hand and new in the sales.

Can I ask if you have been the one and only owner of this machine? And if so, where did you buy it from and do you still have that receipt?

Is it easy to transfer ownership of MacBooks and also transfer of the AppleCare?

And would you be happy with half payment up front (bank transfer) and then the other half after collection?

    Thanks.

    Hi

Sure I'll be happy to answer any questions

    1) I am the first and only user of this laptop, it was purchased directly from Apple (Covent Garden) in November last year and I do still have the original electronic invoice.

    2) It is very easy to transfer ownership, all you need to do is turn it on and once signed in to your Apple account the MacBook is in your name. I'll send you the receipt and invoice in case Apple would like to verify the ownership.

    3) I'll be happy with that considering your trading rating. Although I would like the last half of the payment to be made and verified before you walk off with the laptop.

Don't you have it remove it from your Apple account first? And isn't transferring the AppleCare something that you need to do? I just googled these things and that seemed to be the sense I got.

I'm not sure I can send a bank transfer from my mobile. Which is what I'd need to do if I sent the other half of the payment before leaving your side. I was assuming I'd pay it as soon as I got home. Wouldn't it work that way if you were to post it to me? I'd pay the second half once it arrived at my house.

Any luck finding a suitable box? Likewise I am neither here or there during the festive period otherwise would have arranged to collect post full PPG payment. Everything settles down next week I guess.

I personally have no reason to do a reverse transaction as I am specifically after this machine and would have preferred to have got one with Apple Care like yours rather than go to CEX and get a Grade A but I totally understand where you are coming from. I do not have a trading profile elsewhere as I usually buy items from online stores such as CEX or new.

I got pointed to this forum by a few friends who saw it listed.

The MacBook has already been removed from my account, it's now in a state for a new user to come and enter their own details - no mention of my identity is connected to the MacBook apart from my name being on the original invoice. Apple Care is bound to the Serial Number of the laptop so it goes wherever the MacBook goes.

I haven't found a box as of yet - if the payment is made through PPG then you would have to wait till the funds are cleared in my bank account before sending to you. I understand it may be quick now as Paypal sends funds through the faster payment service.
