I thought I read or heard somewhere that Samsung's S95B unofficially supports the 4K resolution (3840x2160) at a whopping 144 Hertz!
Is this is true???

If it is (please be true), how would one with one, go about making one's one, run it?

Let me tell you a secret: I have a S95B :D :D :D
and a 3080! (a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC 10G to be exact - a triple slot, triple fan design. Although it's a space heater, it's a quiet space heater!). I've had the 3080 since release so I'm not really excited about it. But the S95B!!!

Edit: here it is... and 10 bit too! Not sure why it's called a QBQ90S.

Anyway, the article I found said you'd need to sacrifice bit depth. Looks like I'm smrtr then tham

I've never been an early adopter of technology before, or someone who buys the highest tier. Here are two quick examples illustrating my buying style (if there is such a thing lol).
1.) For my current desktop, I chose for the CPU to be a 9600K - it cost $319. It is bested by the 9700K ($529), and 9900K ($759). Intel's 9th gen was released Q4 2018 - I got mine in Q3 2019.
2.) The rig before it, I built Boxing Day of 2011 (12/26/11). The options were 2500K and 2600K (Jan/2011 release). They're nearly identical chips in all respects except one - Hyperthreading support (HT). For the extraordinary privilege of a very occasional 3-8% increase in performance during 1% of normal computing tasks excluding games, I could have spent $100 more on the 2600K. But stupid me went for the 2500K for $214... (it's still in use!)

For those who don't know computers:
2500K vs. 2600K is like A8G vs A9G
9600K vs. 9700K vs. 9900K is like LG B1 vs. LG C1 vs. LG G1
