Ok, I have done a search about 12v triggers but I'm still confused.
Exactly what do I need to connect my nad power amp and nad integrated so they both switch on at the same time?
    3.5 minijack or summat?

Paul as long as your Nad Kit allows this then i would say yes it usually is a 3.5mm jack to connect the units together.

I have connected a 3.5mm mono audio cable between the 2 and works like a dream. Power on the amp, then a second later, the DVD player comes on. Same with power off.

    Regards,

    Dan.
