get 240gb if budget allows i have OCZ 240gb and its good! unless you are shifting lots of data you wont really notice the speed difference between the two. I use mine for photoediting so have two in raid 0 and lots of storage (6tb) when im done editing.
120gb is ok for os and a few games but these days fills up quick!

Samsung is more reliable as the OCZ used Sandforce controller which is known for having issues. Although the OCZ does have better write speeds...difficult choice really :p

I have the Samsung 256gb ssd and i cannot praise it enough (i upgraded from and old 250gb samsung 54,000 rpm hdd) my programs open up almost instantly, i haven't had any slow downs or crashes either.
My system takes about 18 seconds to boot up now compared to my old drive that took about 60 seconds (both drives had the same amount of data on it). I definitely recommend the samsung, and if you can stretch your budget to 256gb i would (I'm sure i had an email from ebuyer the other day with the 256gb on offer for £124.99).

Woah. Dude. Keep that drive. Seriously.

Samsung 840 SSDs are absolutely phenomenal. I've heard OCZ uses artificial benchmarks to make it look like they're better. Somebody once said they upgraded to an 840 Pro from a Vertex 3 RAID 0 array - that's insane!

In this case I'd certainly go for the cheaper drive. In terms of performance and reliability you won't notice too much difference between the two drives. The basic Samsung 840 series have a very good reputation amongst mainstream consumers (i.e. us) so I'd go for that drive.

    I'd go for a Samsung 830 over a 840 basic, the 840pro is something else though :)
