Yesterday while trying to get rid from an old problem - Waves in the left side - I was "playing" with the Horizontal Phase Adjustment and Raster Shift Adjustment. suddenly the image moved strongly to the right (a part is out of the screen) , and totally out of convergence.
The message I got on the screen "Failure I2C error F0H".

This failure " I2C error F0H" and image in the right & totally out of convergence is in all the blocks and resolutions. even in the PJ starting "Warm UP" mode.

I can't do the following operations:
    1. To use the Raster Shift.
    2. To convergence in the center (the convergence in the sides is functioning),

I am still able to do:
    1.Horizontal Phase Adjustment
    2.Side convergence (only).
    3.Coarse Convergence.
    4.Focusing.
    5.Left - Right adj.
    6.Top - Bottom adj.
    7.Horizontal & Vertical Size adj.

I have checked the fuses in the SMPS & Power (main) input module and they were OK.

    I'll appreciate any input/suggestions

I2C failure FOH relates to the mag focus+horizontal shift sub board R762271S, which controls RG&B horizontal shift wave form generation. You'll need to change the board or replace the faulty IC

    Thanks,

On the SMPS - main board ( in the 1209s service manual - page 292,293 I find that F205 (one of the horizontal shift power supply fuses) is "faulty", I will change today hopping that this will solve the "Failure I2C error F0H"

No power supply to the board won't help! if the fuse fails again you know where to look to solve the problem. Good luck.

    Hi,

Just wanted to inform that the "Failure I2C error F0H" was fixed by replacing the fuse - F205 on the SMPS board.

Thank you H for the suggestions.
