I have sourced a decent green for my 1208/2 from the boys in Norwich.

I fancy having a go myself and would appreciate any advice on known pitfalls, other than all three tubes have to come out on a 1208/2

All done in less than two hours.

Just need to rotate the tube to give a horizontal image - any clues anyone?

Imaging that the yokes on the tube need rotating

    Well done Nathan.

Easy ain't it - tube changes always appeared to me to be something extremely difficult but once you do it it's not as difficult as you imagined!

Did you do astig as well?

Still tweaking it - can't find that post on screen rolling though - that old problem is still there.

    Tim,

Got the 1208/2 for silly money so decided to rebuild the room on a shoe string. Just missed my theater room too much.

The rebuild is gonna take a little longer i'm afraid.

    Watch this space :)
