120 min Hi8 tapes ?

    Where can I get 120 minute Hi8 tapes ?

    Who is the best retailer for Hi8 media in the UK :confused:

    One of the cheapest media retailers, and one that I have seen recommended on here several times is http://www.pricebuster.org.uk
    Their server is down at the moment so I can't check prices etc but check them out and see if they have what you are after.

    It's impossible to find 120min Hi8 tapes in this country.

    I've found a site in the USA but as I'll be recording in PAL and the US tapes are for NTSC, do you guys see this as a problem ?

    I've recorded in NTSC using PAL 'vhs' with no problems, so I can't see this being an issue.

    What do you think ?

    This should not be a problem but be aware that the speed the tape travels is different for NTSC & PAL, therfore a 2 hour NTSC Hi8 tape will not last 2 hours when recording in PAL
