can i just check with other ax100 users

im planning to use my existing lindy vga cable to feed 1080p to ax100

i have been looking but cannot confirm that the ax100 will accept a 1080p feed through vga but then again i cannot find any info to say it doesnt.

i need to get a vga female/female gender adaptor/coupling and assuming this would be ok to connect xbox360 to my lindy cable then onto ax100

can someone just back this up or am i talking ballcocks

Dont think it does thru VGA, but accepts it thru HDMI. will take 1080p24 as well thru HDMI.

So it's 'accepts' a 1080p signal but doesn't output it, correct?

It definatly accepts it via HDMI/DVI and component as well according to the manual. The newer ATI drivers have an option to us 1080p24. It looks basically the same as 1080i TBH. 1080p24 would probably be the prefered choice if your running HD-DVD or BR though, as it will bring out better image detail, and you shouldnt have as much 'juddering'.

Saying that though if your stuck with VGA, there isnt anything wrong with using 1080i TBH, you wont notice all that much difference.

xbox 360 only outputs 1080p via Vga but ax100 wont take 1080p via vga?

how would i overcome this, perhaps with an apaptor to hdmi, if possible.

was hoping to use 1080p with xbox 360 hd-dvd drive
