1080p LCD for HTPC?

Which 20" - 26" LCD monitor supports 1080p and has good black levels?

It must also handle SD very well. It will be used with a HTPC, so 1080p is essential. It will also be used with Vista Media Centre.

Thanks.

Howcome you wan't 1080p if its only for media centre usage? Unless you are sat very close it is very unnecessary and actually makes things more difficult since everything will be so small. ( Adjusting the DPI helps but can cause havoc with some programs )

I have tried playing DVDs on my 32" Samsung LE32R87BDX and normal DVDs look bad, so I want something smaller so the quality doesn't look as bad. I like the Samsung 656 and the quality of the picture looks more like a plasma.

Its actually just due to the fact that the r87 was not a great screen... I had a 42" screen and dvds look *superb* often some look as crisp as some poorer quality HD films....

Just look at a decent 720p screen.... i mean if you don't mind a 32 then check out the 32PG6000 plasma from LG... i use mine for HTPC usage in my bedroom. Normal dvds and gaming and its brilliant and looks much better than my smaller screens despite it being bigger...
