You don't actually need a 1080p 26", unless you'll be using it as a monitor.

Oh im at uni, and my tx32lzd85 is too large for my room. as a result im usin gmy 22" cibox monitor which is a pile of crap. so i need a 1080p tv, which is nearly as good as my tx32lzd85. and 720p isnt enough because im using it as a monitor.

Then the Dell is a very good choice. Although it is a bit expensive, but the pixel guarantee and 3 years on-site warranty seems worth the extra cash.

S-PVA

Dell hasn't started using the H-IPS yet, but the current S-PVA is very good.

PS: That price is for limited time only, and it can go back to 500+ at any time. But it does come down every month or so.
