1080i vs 1080p

    I got my hd tv about 2 years ago.

    Sadly its only 1080i.

    I'm thinking of upgrading to get a 1080p set.

    Before I do this can you guys really tell the difference between 1080i & 1080p.

    I'll be using it for sky hd, xbox 360 & blu ray through my ps3.

    You TV is 720p, not 1080i. 1080i HDTVs don't exist.

    the i means interlaced, so in on second u only see have the lines of pixels.
